A 38-year-old Chinese national, Yong Wang, was found dead in a field in Istanbul's Arnavutköy district, with his hands, feet, and mouth bound. The investigation, triggered by a missing persons report filed by Wang's lawyer, revealed he was likely killed during a robbery targeting his cryptocurrency holdings.

Police traced Wang's last movements using GPS data from his vehicle, leading them to the crime scene. Authorities suspect the assailants struck him with a blunt object before stealing a cold wallet containing undisclosed digital assets. The case underscores the risks associated with high-value crypto transactions in unsecured environments.
